Hietamaki Beach

Hietama Beach and Leisure Centre - a small beach where people have been swimming for generations. The beach is surrounded by exercise stairs, frisbee golf, a go-kart track, and canoes, as well as a forest. The nearby village of Ruukki offers services from pharmacies to shops, and the market square is worth a visit. A good stop for those passing by on the highway. To get here, head to Ruukki, then follow Hietamaantie for about 1.5km along Tuomiojantie, after a field and a small bridge, turn right, and the signs will guide you to the beach. Free of charge. Visit Hietama Beach and Leisure Centre in the summer.
