Kaisaniemi Botanical Garden

The giant lilies, carnivorous plants, and other specialties familiar from children's books await right next to Helsingin Rautatieasema. The magnificent old greenhouse and the recently renovated outdoor garden are Helsinki's gems in a central location. Using a stroller to move around in the greenhouses can be challenging, although it's not prohibited. The outdoor garden is always free to access, while there's an admission fee to the indoor greenhouses, with children under 5 years old entering for free.
