Korkeakoski

Korkeakoski is Finland's highest free-flowing waterfall. It is located in Maaninka and is a popular destination, especially in the spring when the snow melts and the waterfall is at its most impressive. The height of the waterfall is approximately 36 meters, and the water flow varies greatly depending on the time of year.

Near the highest point of the waterfall (Korkeakoskentie 111, 71775 Tuovilanlahti) there is a parking area with an information board and a small café-kiosk that is open during the summer. From the parking area, a short and barrier-free path leads to the upper area of the waterfall, where there are also other trails and stairs leading down to the gorge.
