Möötikkärakka

The 500-meter long, easy-to-walk but sometimes steep nature trail to Möötikkärakka offers stunning views of Sonkajärvi. In the steepest sections, there are stairs. On Möötikkärakka, it is forbidden to make a bonfire, but you can eat or drive a bit further to Oitolanranta, where there is a easily accessible campfire site (you can drive right next to it) and you can, for example, go to the beaver lodge. The beach is not particularly suitable for swimming, but it is also a place for boating. There is a boat launch, an outdoor pulpit, a theater stage, and a cabin that can be rented from the local association on the area.
