The iconic landmark of the residential area being built on the site of the old oil harbour is a unique attraction, the light art installation Öljysäiliö 468, which was created in the old oil tank and shines at the tip of Kruunuvuorenranta in the darker seasons. You can also spot this white giant in the summer months from passing cruise ships as well as from the Suomenlinna ferry. The area around the oil tank is also an open outdoor recreation area, and picnic tables and barbecue areas can be found along the waterfront. From the shore of the oil harbour, you can enjoy views of Suomenlinna, Katajanokka, Korkeasaari, and the tower district of Kalasatama.
