Pirkkala Sports Park's Neighbourhood Sports Facility Plotti

A free children's swimming area in Pirkkolan Urheilupuisto. The water in Plotin is chlorinated but murky due to the sandy bottom. A clean and fun swimming area for kids, with a café and changing rooms open from 10-18. There is a cold water shower, both indoors and outdoors, a sandy beach and a rocky cliff into the water, and a fun artificial island in the middle. The water is no deeper than 1 meter. There is no algae bloom, and the water from the artificial lake is regularly cleaned. There is a small playground nearby. Admission is free. It's worth visiting here: open from mid-June to mid-August.
