Purupukka Hiking Area

Purupakan recreation area is a perfect destination for families. The area features a sandy beach and a nature trail, which includes a suspension bridge crossing the river. Parking is limited to approximately 8 cars, and it can be a bit challenging to find space for multiple vehicles. The beach has a sandy bottom and a gentle current, with a depth of approximately 2 meters from the shore. A nature trail starts right next to the parking area, leading to the suspension bridge. Directions: From Merikarviantie, turn left onto Sähkötehtaantielle when approaching Tuorila from the north. At the end of the street, you'll find Purupakan lean-to and beach, popular among hikers and anglers. Recommended for families with children aged 4 and above. Admission is free. Visit Purupakan recreation area in spring and autumn.
