Savonlinnan rautatieaseman museo

The Savon radan museo is located in the old station building from 1889 in Pieksämäki, next to track 6. The museum showcases the rich railway history, with a focus on Savon rata and the surrounding area of Pieksämäki.
On display are numerous railway-related exhibits, some of which can be handled. The museum also features a miniature railway and a viewing area for railway-themed videos. For younger visitors, there is a train-themed LEGO play area and a bridge-building workshop.
Open during the summer months, admission is only by cash.
