Uunisaari, located at the entrance of Kaivopuisto, is an easily accessible destination from September to April (November to April), when a pontoon bridge connects Uunisaari from Ehrenströmintie at Merisatama. The pedestrian bridge is removed around the middle of April to allow Kaivopuisto's boat traffic to pass by the island. During the summer season, Uunisaari is accessible by a short boat ride. Recommended for all ages. Free admission (paid ferry connection during the summer season). Visit Uunisaari all year round.
